Konstantino was born in Athens and raised amid the beauty and majesty of one of the oldest civilizations in the world. "My father was a huge influence in my life... he taught me constantly about Greek philosophy, history and art." Enthralled with Greek history and the rich legacy of Greek gods and goddesses, Konstantino developed an endless fascination with the artisanship of the earliest Greek jewelry designs. "This is why our jewelry is different from any other. Our designs are timeless and universal. They come from the core of civilization and the elements of the modern world." Throughout time, artisans have paid homage to Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty. In his own tribute to this magnificent goddess, Konstantino has devoted a lifetime to creating modern expressions of ancient Greek jewelry.

John Hardy first became known as a designer of silver jewelry, and although he now also designs in gold and with diamonds and other gemstones, he remains a master in the use of sterling silver. Silver is pure, elemental, expressive of the powers of the Moon. Silver is called a noble metal because of its resistance to the corrosive influence of other chemicals; yet it is among the most malleable of metals. John came to Bali in 1975 and studied silver-smithing techniques with Balinese craftsmen, some of them descendants of artisans who made jewelry for the royal courts of Bali. Many of the craftsmen employed by John Hardy today are part of that heritage. The culture of the John Hardy design studio is inclusive and diverse, reflecting the multi-cultural nature of Indonesian society. The craftsmen are from Bali, Java, Sumatra, and other Indonesian islands; many of the Balinese are descendants of artisans to the former royal courts of Bali. The international management team are from Europe, America, Australia, and Asia.

Barry Kronen may not have originally started out working in the jewelry business, but he was destined to be a part of it. After traveling the world with his family - his father was in the Air Force and the family moved often - Kronen settled in Florida in 1971. Once there, he tried his hand at several vocations, never sure of what he wanted to do, but certain it would be something artistic, as creative talent ran in his family. After landing a job selling jewelry in 1981 he found his niche, but selling jewelry was not enough. He wanted to design.

Kronen set up his first shop in his garage where he bagan to fashion silver jewelry. From that humble beginning, Kronen's talents began to grow and shine as brightly as the jewels and gems he works with. Today, Kronen owns and runs his own factory and business with the help of his wife Michele. His daughter Stephanie is a model for many of Kronen's ad campaigns. Barry Kronen Designs received instantaneous attention from his signature Moon Rocks Collection, a rainbow of colored gems in pendants, rings and earrings. "It's amazing how people reacted to them", Kronen says. "I gave people young, flirty jewelry that was elegant at the same time; something that was perhaps missing from the market before."

Now in business 20 years, Barry Kronen Designs is on the cutting edge of what's new and what's hot in the world of jewelry. Barry Kronen features a diverse portfolio of designs including the monogram collection, the Victorian Lace Collection and the pendant collection.

Barry Kronen isn't one to rest on his laurels, or his Moon Rocks. "I don't believe in riding a look, so we're always changing and creating new styles for our customers", says Kronen. It's this unerring family sense of fashion and a finger on the pulse of what will be the next big trend that has made the mark of Barry Kronen Designs. Such a sensibility and a willingness to reinvent himself will keep his designs on everyone's "it list" for years to come. Visit the Barry Kronen website.

Stephen Dweck has always been intrigued with art and design. At an early age, he developed a love for nature and soon learned how he could incorporate it into design. Stephens formal training began at the School of Visual Arts in New York City where he was a student of sculpture and painting. Stephen began fusing his two loves which led to designing hand carved stone bangles; this was his first venture into the jewelry design world.

Stephen launched his first line at Bergdorf Goodman in May of 1981, and was an immediate success. Soon after his first collection was launched, Geoffrey Beene saw his work and asked him if he could spotlight his collection on the runway, exposing Stephen to the powerful synergy between accessories and fashion. Over the years he has had many collaborations with other influential designers including; Donna Karan, Oscar de la Renta, Catherine Malandrino and Escada. In his new niche of artistic fashion jewelry he took the press by storm which has led to many years of editorial success featured in the industries leading magazines; Vogue, In-Style, Bazaar, W, Town & Country, and Robb Report

Stephen has long drawn his inspiration from the wealth of materials found in nature. He collects stones from all over the world; Tourmalines from Brazil, Boulder Opals from Australia, Ammonites from Morocco and Pearls from the South Sea. In the past twenty-four years he has created one of the most extensive galleries of stones and minerals from which his "One of a Kind" pieces are born. Each of the "OAKS", are adorned with his signature beetle named "Adam" , and can never be duplicated due to each natural mineral being very distinct from one another. The avid Stephen Dweck collector acquires pieces from the "Signature Collection"; these are rare "OAK" pieces that are comprised of very unique minerals which are set in 18kt.Gold, this collection is the most coveted of all of Stephens works of art, culminating his status as "romancer of the stones"

A great deal of thought and effort is involved into making each piece of jewelry, from sorting through thousands of stones, to making the perfect setting for each. Stephens influence from nature can be seen in his signature flower and leaf designs, and continues to be at the forefront of trends each season.

For centuries jewelry has been one of the ultimate forms of personal expression. More enduring than fashion. More intimate than words. Since 1987 Precision Set has been producing its own unique designs with this belief in mind. Contemporary or classic. Platinum or gold. Precision Set's innovative jewelry designs are manufactured to stand the test of time.

Precision Set selects only the finest quality metals and gemstones. All classic bands are available in 14k or 18k white or yellow gold and platinum. Precision Set hand calibrates each stone twice to ensure correct sizing.

All Precision Set jewelry is designed, produced, and hand finished at Precision Set headquarters in Dallas, Texas where painstaking attention to detail assures the highest level of craftsmanship and superior quality. Precision Set channel-set products are produced by machining rather than casting. Machining provides these important distinctions:

  • A flexible and custom fit to the stones
  • The ability to customize dimensions with ease
  • Computerized drilling and spacing for evenly set stones
  • A much cleaner final product that ensures a flawless finish

Precision Set's machined, channel-set products begin with highest quality, tubing produced through a specialized process in which gold or platinum is highly pressurized into smooth pipe and then extruded to specific sizes. This creates a seamless custom fit not available with casting methods. The pipe is then cut to specific widths and channels are cut for gemstones. While the metal is being machined, gemstones are sorted and graded by color and clarity. Precision Set hand calibrates each stone twice to ensure correct sizing. Jewelry then goes to the "setter" where gemstones are set using a proprietary machining process on equipment designed by Precision Set. Edges are finished with diamond tools and subjected to a rigorous quality assurance inspection controlled by our certified gemologists
